The Clubhouse
Our audio recording space was built for (and is the regular home of) the gamedev podcast Nice Games Club. It also serves as our video-enabled conference/meeting room, available to all members.
If you have a podcast in need of a permanent (or temporary) home, or have an audio recording project (voice over performance, narration, etc.), contact us for a tour and a chat!
The Clubhouse is a sound-treated studio space built around a professional recording interface and XLR condenser microphones, supporting up to four in-person hosts/guests and an unlimited number of remote participants.
A complete turnkey studio space that’s also flexible and easy-to-use. Any USB-C-enabled laptop can plug in with a single cable and hook into the recording interface, a wide-angle webcam, a 32-inch HD display, and a wired internet connection.

Event rental
Noble Robot is available for one-time event rentals. You can rent The Clubhouse or the entire space for events of all kinds, for up to 25 attendees.

The building and neighborhood

Noble Robot is housed in the historic Saint Anthony Falls Bank building. With its unique French-inspired Beaux Arts facade coupled with a renovated interior and roof, the building feels brand new. Also home to Masu Sushi restaurant and a pair of architecture firms, Noble Robot’s corner of the building benefits from its many features:

The 300 block of East Hennepin Ave in the Nicollet Island neighborhood of Minneapolis ranks among the very best areas in the city, featuring mixed-use buildings, the nearby river falls and park amenities, and dozens of dining, retail, and culture options. It is located within 10 minutes (transit, bike, or car) from both downtown and the University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus.

Transit/parking
Bike information
If you bike to Noble Robot, you can park your bike in the office or lock it in the rear stairwell of the building. There are also places to lock your bike on the sidewalk.
Bus/train information
Noble Robot is within a few blocks of a dozen Metro Transit bus stops. and is a 8-minute bike ride or 10-minute bus transfer to downtown light rail (Blue and Green lines) and BRT (Orange and C lines) stations.
Parking
Noble Robot is located near stretches of free street parking, starting a few blocks from the building entrance (see map). Space is always available if you're up for a short walk.
$0.50/hr and $1.00/hr metered street parking is available throughout the neighborhood. Use the MPLS Parking app.
After 6pm (and on weekends), the parking lot of the Union Trust building (1 block away) turns into free parking. If the gate is up, you can use the lot. There are no signs posted, so nobody ever parks there (🤫 shhh!).
Three parking garages are each located about a block away from the building, with affordable monthly rates as well as hourly parking that matches street parking prices.
Health and safety
COVID-19 policy
Noble Robot has a few rules to reduce the chance of community spread and protect our members.
These rules have been updated for 2024, and are subject to further changes.
- All members and guests must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including the most recent yearly booster vaccinations when available.
- Members are obligated to stay home when experiencing any cold- and/or flu-like symptoms.
- Face masks are no longer required for guests. Members are still responsible for ensuring that their guests follow all other guidelines.
- Additional face masks are available on site should you want one.
